Friedrichshain Cemetery, Berlin, April 2015

The cemetery is just north of the intersection of St. Pariser Kommune and Karl Mark Allee, on the U5 Weberwiese connection that is 5 minutes from AlexanderPlatz.




There is a section of the cemetery that is devoted to those German soldiers who fell in the closing days of the Second World War – presumably defending the city in its last weeks and days before the city fell to the Russian Army
